The SW-MOTECH Center Stand with Foot Lever Arm is a must-have accessory to ease basic chain maintenance, tire changes, parking, and bike cleaning. This center stand includes a foot lever arm to aid in raising the bike off of the ground.

  • Steel construction
  • Double retraction spring
  • Powder coated gloss black finish
  • Allows maintenance in any location
  • Foot lever for deployment leverage

When using this center stand, the sidestand must be in the down (extended) position.

Special Note: We do not recommend installing center stands on bikes with a lowered rear suspension because use on a lowered bike may result in:

  • Ground clearance & cornering clearance problems, and
  • Difficulty in lifting the lowered bike onto the center stand.

Just installed this, simple and easy installation. You don't have to buy the expensive spring tool. I used a phillip's head screw-driver, put the hook of the spring on the shaft, then put the tip on the knob that holds the spring and applied rearward pressure until the spring slid across the shaft onto the spring retention knob. The spring took 5 seconds. I do recommend the lifting handle. As you all know the KLR is a heavy bike. I have to stand with my right foot on the stand, right hand on the lifting handle and left hand on the cross-bar between handle-bars and lift back and rear. (Posted on 5/2/2016)

Easy install, works great, and you can now center stand your bike! Twisted Throttle rocks! (Posted on 2/26/2016)

Easy to install and I recommend purchasing the tool that helps with putting the springs on--it will save you some aggravation.
The stand is very sturdy but it does take some effort to pull your bike up on to it. You will have to ensure each time that the center stand and kick stand are retracted in the right order each time. Overall--great stand! (Posted on 11/4/2015)

I installed the CenterStand in about 45 minutes, the pictures made it very easy to install. I have been using it and while parking I get attention from other riders. (Posted on 11/4/2015)

Just what I needed to get this beast's rear wheel of the ground so I can lube the chain.
Very easy install and pretty much invisible, great product as I think there was definitely some good engineering involved in fitting this to the KLR650 (mine is a 2015) (Posted on 10/6/2015)

I found that this product was very easy to install, maybe 20 minutes. I have no issues with cornering at all, the center stand has more clearance on turns than the side stand. I love how easy it is to adjust and lube the chain. I would definitely recommend this product to anyone. (Posted on 9/15/2015)

Very easy to install even if the plan is not good (the spring position for example).
Good choice but the foot lever arm is very difficult to catch with the foot, not a lot of place to put the motorbike shoe! It is not long enough! This centerstand isn't too heavy, it's nice! Don't forget to fix all the screws with some glu like Loctite because of vibrations in off road trips; the price is honest and the product seems to be of good quality. (Posted on 8/18/2015)

So far so good, it's been on the 2014 KLR 650 for a couple weeks and use it more than the side stand, very stable. Installation instructions didn't mention it, but both long bolts go on the same side/left side of the bike. I used an old automotive brake spring tool to install the spring. Took about 20 minutes to install. (Posted on 3/23/2015)

Great looking workmanship. Went on easily. Even the spring wasn't as difficult as I feared. (Posted on 2/6/2015)

This is a great product! It is well made, has a great finish and was easy to install. The instructions were easy to follow, and the center stand works extremely well for my 2008 KLR 650. (Posted on 12/17/2014)

I was impressed with the construction quality, fit and finish of this center stand. The only challenge was attaching the springs without the custom tool for this purpose. I used a screwdriver and after a few attempts, succeeded in my effort. Probably took an extra 5 minutes. (Posted on 11/24/2014)

Easy to install and rugged without losing much ground clearance. Since I also have old Motech crash bars through the foot peg bolts I bought stainless steel 40mm bolts in place of the supplied bolts. (Posted on 9/13/2014)

Installation on my 2014 KLR 650 was easy and straight forward. Functional as advertised and excellent product workmanship. 4 stars only because you need to partially release side stand to completely retract the center stand. (Posted on 7/29/2014)
