Amazing footpegs. I have diverticulitis and love riding standing up on my GS. These pegs make it so comfortable to ride long distance on flat roads standing. (Posted on 8/20/2017)

They were pretty simple to install, only major issue on the install was the spring that gets the pegs to spring back down, this took a few attempts to try to get it to mount successfully. Once on, they have been great and super helpful. (Posted on 7/10/2017)

Just bought these for my GS LC. I am using them in the low position and it definitely makes a comfort change from the stock pegs. (Posted on 6/13/2016)

Since these pegs are approximately twice the width and about two inches lower than the OEM pegs I had concerns that they might not mount properly or perhaps interfere with the side stand on my 2016 factory lowered R1200GS LC. Nothing could be further from the truth. They went on in matter of minutes and are a great improvement over the OEM pegs. I would recommend them to others who have a similar model looking for some extra leg room or a better foot rest. (Posted on 5/19/2016)

I bought the foot pegs a few months ago and really like how they work. I ride a 2014 R1200GS and got the lower seat. By lowering the foot pegs it made it easier to stand up out of the seat. It also made the handle bars slightly higher so I could ride more upright. I still added the Rox height adjusters to further increase the bar height when standing. (Posted on 5/18/2016)

I just spent 2 hours trying to get the pegs to work on my 2016 1200 GS Adventure only to realize the picture on line has different shaped springs. The stock springs are backwards to what it is supposed to do. I'm in the market now for different springs. Any ideas. (Posted on 4/12/2016)

I bought these pegs along with an SW shifter to give a better perch to rest my feet. Plus, lower wider pegs are more comfortable than stock and of a higher build quality. Negative, more felt vibration than stock depending on foot placement. The washer on the right peg holds the spring in such a way that the installation is challenging and the peg is held just a little bit up from full rest. So, minus one-half star. Over all , will reccomend for purchase and I am very pleased with the build quality of the product. (Posted on 1/14/2016)

I visited the BMW motorcycle shop in West Palm Beach, Florida and noticed the BMW Adventurer came equipped with footpegs like the SW-Motech Off-Road footpegs I just installed on my 2013 GS Watercooled BMW. What a difference having the extra width footpeg under my size 15 riding boots. (Posted on 6/29/2015)

bought hess the week of my off road skills training course and what a good decision - allows me to pivot my feet to swing my body out over bike to lean bike other way on dirt and gravel. could not have done this with the stock pegs. 30 min to put both on, super simple. Pricey, but bullet proof design and a low cost way to improve my skills (much lower than the course!) (Posted on 5/7/2015)

I bought these to replace my OEM pegs on my 2013 R1200GS - Easy install and look great. They can be mounted at two different heights and have a nice wide foot platform.
Great purchase - highly reccomend them (Posted on 10/27/2014)

I just finished installing the SW-Motech on/off footpegs on my 2014 R1200GS LC. Very easy installation along with top quality components I was very impressed with the product. Now after taking her for a quick 50 mile test ride I can't believe how much of an improvement they are over the stock (way too narrow) pegs. Either standing on the pegs while off road or seated while on the road the improvement in feel and comfort, these pegs are nothing short of exceptional and I highly recommend them. There are many options out there but these are perfect for my needs, if you are on the fence as to which to buy (as I was) forget all of the others and buy the SW-Motech on/off pegs, thay re that good!! In general they are made extremely well and easy to install. Also like that you can remove the rubber with one screw to gain access to the teeth on the footpegs for off road riding. Downside is that it blocks easy access to the kickstand. (Posted on 8/27/2014)

These pegs were a great upgrade for the bike, much more comfortable for both standing and distance riding. Control of the bike has certainly increased. Big downside was I needed to file down the "posts" where the pegs attach to the brackets (before mounting to the bike) as the two parts had interference. This seems to be the tolerance values between the casting of the peg and the aluminum machining of the bracket. I would still purchase again though as I really like them. (Posted on 8/13/2014)

I bought these for my 2014 BMW R1200GS, primarily for the 15mm drop. I'm 5'11" with a 32" inseam, and I keep the back of the stock seat in the low position, with the front in the high position. I wanted a bit more leg room, so I installed these pegs in the low setting. I also have 25mm bar risers on the bike.

The install was simple. it took 10 or 15 minutes, and there's only one bolt to torque on the right side and none on the left. I used the rubber pads, which are included in the kit but optional for installation.

The quality of the pegs is excellent, much nicer than the OEM pegs. They look "factory," and the fit and finish is an excellent complement to the bike.

I adjusted my stock shift lever and brake levers lower, and I have plenty of room to operate them naturally and normally with my size 11 touring boots.

My major concern before installing them was that they might push my feet outward when the pegs are in the lowered position, making me shift and brake "pigeon-toed." This is not the case at all; I can place my feet with the heels up against the heel guards when I choose to.

I have gone "fast" around long sweepers and on-ramps, and I don't think I'm anywhere close to contacting the ground. I'm not planning a track day with this bike, but for quick-but-sane street riding the clearance is more than adequate.

As a bonus, it is much easier and more comfortable when you stand up in the saddle. You can't help but notice the difference.

I have zero regrets; these pegs met or exceeded all my expectations and I recommend them without reservation. (Posted on 7/7/2014)

Bought these pegs to replace the narrow OEM ones. Installation was easy and other than a little alignment issue with the bike bracket, and not the pegs, everything went great! Nice quality product. (Posted on 1/15/2014)

Just installed the SW-Motech pegs. Much more surface area than stock on the GSW. I installed in the lower position, perfect for my height with the 40mm bar risers I purchased at the same time. Simple install, remember to bolt to bike before installing foot pads. DUH! (Posted on 11/19/2013)
